RagingWire data Centers, a company of wholesale data center solutions with more than 80MW of critical IT load, close 1 million square feet of the infrastructure of data centers in the US, announced that Joel Stone joined RagingWire as Senior Vice President and Chief operating Officer (COO).
Reporting to President RagingWire Doug Adams and a member of the senior corporate management team is responsible Joel Stone critical facilities Engineering, Design and construction of the company, and Data Center operations, which includes quality assurance, electrical and mechanical engineering, design and development, security, electrical and mechanical engineering, Critical Facilities operations, service delivery Infrastructure, and security.

Joel Stone has 25 years of operation broad-based, integration, transformation, and technical experience in the data center, IT infrastructure and telecommunications. More recently, Mr. Stone served as Vice President of Global Data Center Operations for CenturyLink, responsible for 60 data centers worldwide and an international team of 0 people.

Data Centers wholesale
Before CenturyLink, Mr. Stone was director of the Global Switch Group's operations in London, one of the largest wholesale suppliers data centers in Europe, and spent nine years at Microsoft responsible for the 16 data centers in North America, 300,000 servers, the network storage (SAN), and network devices, and a team of nearly 500 internal and external resources.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Stone designed the build-out of two "state-of-the-art" data centers in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara) to Cable & Wireless Communications, and high-level technical roles held by a subsidiary of Sylvan Learning Systems, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and the American Association of retired Persons (AARP).
