PCM announces the opening of the new Tier III Data Center Cloud New Albany, Ohio -

PCM (NASDAQ: PCMI), a provider of technology solutions to approximately $ 1.4 billion in sales business and a workforce of 2,800 employees, announced the opening of a new Tier III Data Center cloud new Albany, Ohio to meet the growing demand for managed hosting and cloud Centric IT services.

pcm-data-centers in December 2012, PCM bought 7.9 acres of land for the construction of new cloud data center. The Tier III facility is strategically located in a central data-centric development in New Albany, Ohio, and complete two existing data centers and integrated PCM 24/7 Operations Centre (IOC) located in Atlanta, Georgia.

The New Albany capacity data center more than 12,000 physical servers and has room to expand with future phases. The new facility will improve MCP managed hosting service offerings including cloud services, colocation, and management of complete systems.

Connectivity

"This expansion enhances our already strong commitment to the cloud services space and is located close to one of our anchor regions," said Frank Khulusi, CEO of PCM . "This new data center offers the perfect balance of offering roommate traditional data center and cloud Centric IT services, offering customers the power to choose their transition selected services in the cloud."

PCM built its cloud data centers to a standard format with each site can deliver the same cloud services portfolio. A secure private network connects all data centers, improved cloud offerings for customers requiring various highly available configuration.

With the network connectivity provided by multiple Tier-1 network carriers , customers benefit from the redundant public network protection, high-speed throughput, and low latency.
