IBM acquired the managed hosting unit of AT & T services IBM and AT & T said it means , they are expanding their long-term strategic relationship to provide companies a full range of advanced networks, application and hosting services. IBM align these services capabilities managed with the IBM Cloud portfolio.
IBM will also acquire the equipment and access to the floor space in the AT & T data centers currently supporting applications and managed hosting operations . Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
After nearly, IBM will deliver the managed applications and managed the AT & T provides hosting services today. AT & T will continue to provide network services including security, networking cloud and mobility it offers today. And the two companies will work closely to innovate and offer a full range of integrated solutions to customers.
"Today's announcement represents an expansion of our strategic relationship with AT & T and collaboration continues to provide new and innovative solutions," said Philip Guido, IBM General manager of global Technology services for North America . "Working with aT & T, we will deliver a robust set of IBM Cloud and managed services that can continually evolve to meet customer business objectives . "
aT & T and IBM announced that they will ensure a smooth transition and continue to provide the same high level of customer service await the two companies. as the new operator of these managed the implementation and management of hosting services , IBM will bring extensive experience of the company and a rich portfolio of cloud, data and application solutions.
