MDNX Group, one of the largest UK-based systems integrator providing networked and solutions accommodation in the UK market, has acquired the entire issued share capital of Easynet, a global provider of managed network, managed hosting and cloud integration services.
combination of Easynet and MDNX would create the largest independent network integrator and accommodation in Europe, according to an official statement by the two companies. The merged operations of the two companies will operate under the brand Easynet move forward.
The acquisition was supported by Equistone Partners Europe Limited , a private equity company which will own a majority stake in the newly formed group. LDC has reinvested in the newly formed group to acquire a minority stake alongside MDNX management.

All countries in the Easynet Group will be part of this operation, with the exception of the company in Germany. For a number of years, the activity of Easynet in Germany has been operating successfully and developing his company specializes in providing high end unique supply IT solutions to the enterprise market. To enable this activity to accelerate its growth even , the decision was made to become independent standalone company.
Owned by its current shareholders, the LDCs and the management team, this independent company would now have a greater level of flexibility for further development in the field of IT sourcing solutions. All customers remain with the company that will be renamed in 2014 to Nexinto GmbH .
MDNX Founder new CEO
In addition, the new formed Group will establish a new company in Germany, where all network dedicated assets of the former German branch Easynet will be transferred. It will then invest to build a new company in Germany to be known as Easynet Global Services GmbH and will partner with Nexinto into global business network.
Mark Thompson , CEO and founder of MDNX, will also head the new group as CEO, supported by Wayne Churchill in as Chief Operating Officer and Mike Mulford Chief Financial Officer. Easynet former CEO, Greg Clarke , will take the role of non-executive Chairman of the Group.
