Equinix Announces Closing of Acquisition Telecity, Doubles Presence data center in Europe -

interconnection and colocation company global data center, Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX), completed the TelecityGroup acquired in a transaction valued at approximately $ 3.8 billion (£ 2.6 billion). Adding 40+ TelecityGroup data centers more than double the capacity of Equinix in Europe.

The TelecityGroup acquisition expands the platform interconnection Equinix in major European markets while adding critical network and cloud density to better serve corporate clients.
