DYXnet Group, a cloud hosting, colocation and connectivity provider based in China with 430 employees, has opened its new data center in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, Hong Kong. The new data center is the 11 Group data center, increasing its accommodation capacity to a total of 2,000 racks.
The data center meets the Grade 8 anti-seismic standards and has the leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. Other features of the new data center include:
- level 3+ electrical system with multiple levels of redundancy and backup
- average power density of 3 kVA per cabinet
- cooling design with a projected energy use efficiency (PUE) of 1.6
- Ultra-fast answer VESDA (very early smoke detection apparatus) detection system fire

The new data center is the second level 3+ Group outside data center DYXnet data center in Shanghai Waigaoqiao.
