OnRamp, a hybrid hosting provider with data center facilities in Texas and Carolina North, announced that Matt Hammons will join the management team as Vice President of operations. In this role, Hammons oversee infrastructure operations and data centers, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business operations.
Matt Hammons OnRamp joined Rackspace where he was Director of Engineering for a product Platform-as-a-service. During his 6 year term to Rackspace, Mr. Hammons has directed the construction and opening of the Sydney business, Australia Data Center and the migration of more than 1,000 customers of the closing Herndon, Virginia data center.
Before Rackspace, Hammons was Technology infrastructure Manager at Texas Medicaid and healthcare Accenture partnership . in this role, he was responsible for operations and the implementation of health care-oriented infrastructures, providing solutions for the State of Texas.
