Zayo Group, fiber services provider and the bandwidth connectivity, colocation and cloud, appointed veteran Jack Waters as industry leading technology (CTO) and Chairman of its network solutions. As a member of the senior management team of Zayo, Waters will be involved in all aspects of the company and will be directly involved with strategic customers Zayo, technology providers and alliance partners.
Jack Waters Zayo will report to President and Chief Executive Dan Caruso and oversee global technology and network strategy and execution. The appointment is effective August 15.

Prior to joining Level 3, Waters was a member of the management staff for MCI Communications, responsible for the architecture and implementation network. He started his career at SURAnet, Research and Academic Network Southeastern University. Waters used the Technical Advisory Council of the FCC and the board of the Colorado Technology Association.
