Internap, solutions provider infrastructure-as-a-service lodging, announced the opening of its new high-performance data center - with power densities of up to 18kW per rack. The new facility is located in Secaucus, New Jersey, to serve customers in the New York metropolitan area and beyond with the Internap portfolio of hybrid IT infrastructure services including colocation, managed hosting, servers virtual and cloud bare metal.
Secaucus data center will add 55,000 feet net-sellable square over time to existing capacity Internap data center in the metropolitan New York area, including 75 Broad Street, which is almost full capacity.

- Service PlatformConnect Internap, with Layer 2 VLAN technology (VLAN), which would allow a transparent and cost-effective hybridization of its virtual and cloud bare metal, managed hosting, colocation, storage and other infrastructure services in the establishment and among other Secaucus Internap data centers.
- An ideal location, providing easy access to Manhattan, the New Jersey Turnpike, the Secaucus Junction train station and three international airports in the region; one of the only institutions in the region which is outside the 500 year flood plain.
