Cirrus Solutions Data Awarded Patent for 3rd Speeding Data Center Migrations -

Cirrus Solutions data, a provider of data migration devices, has been awarded its third patent to date for its Transparent Datapath Intercept (TDI) technology. TDI eliminate the complexity and disruption when deploying storage management applications

TDI allows data centers to perform all types of data migration programs -. Refresh local storage, local remote, cloud inheritance, and other storage practices -. without the need to stop operations or change the configuration of servers, switches and storage

In essence, TDI would Cirrus aircraft data, which can migrate data and caching, to add on-the-fly in a production environment in minutes without having to make big changes in the data center environment.

cirrus-data-solutions new patent in force for TDI was issued by US Patent Office (# 077752) for the interception host side, defined as "systems, devices and methods for identifying stored data which can be accessed by a host entity and providing data management services.

This data Cirrus patent extends the coverage of the ADI invention host side intercept , with all the protocols covered in the prior patents. In addition, this patent also covers the configuration where VSAN, or tissue capable virtual switches, can be used to increase the signal / noise fan-out fan-in. This would increase the efficiency of the Nexus to allow one-to-many interception, which means a single Nexus can be used to intercept multiple links.

Cirrus Data Appliances

with the interception host side and the one-to-many configuration, a single pair of Cirrus aircraft data with Nexus bit can be used to intercept a large environment with many storage links. Fair the number of storage paths provided by these links is not present for performance reasons, but seem rather because of the simplified redundancy configuration. By consolidate transparent paths , the system can be intercepted by reducing more redundant paths without performance degradation and without introducing risk.

"All our products enjoy TDI, which allows database administrators and power service providers install and remove our devices in a live production environment with zero installation of time quick stop, "said Wayne Lam, CEO of Cirrus data .

Based in Syosset, NY, Cirrus data solutions was founded in August 2011 by a team of data storage experts each with over 20 years of experience and specializes in providing plug -and-play data storage solutions based on SAN requires zero changes to existing infrastructure. Its appliance software are sold / licensed through a network of partners, including Cognizant, Dell, Fujitsu, IBM and Datalink.
