NTT Communications, the global data and IP services arm of telecommunications company NTT (NYSE: NTT), announced the opening of its new data center in the Pudong development zone of Shanghai, China. The new data center, colocation center third of NTT Communications in Shanghai, will offer about 2,0 m2 of server room, which is equivalent to 1,000 racks.
NTT Communications Expands Services core data in China to include not only the roommate but also hosting services to primary cloud, as its Enterprise Cloud. The company offers its data center services worldwide under the brand Nexcenter. The new data center in Shanghai will provide data center services to clients in the areas, including finance, manufacturing and IT services

global Network IP expansion
NTT Communications also announced the expansion of its global Tier-1 IP network with a new point of presence ( PoP) in Boston at One Summer street location of Markley group.
Commonly known by its address, One Summer Street, the colocation center is a neutral Markley Support Center. With connectivity to more than 80 national and international network providers and utility feeds a network grid system consists of eight sub-stations for uninterrupted, reliable power, One Summer Street houses critical IT operations to financial, health, academic, entertainment and business and technology institutions.
installing Markley is a center 920,000 square feet of data providing 2N redundancy with thirty operating engineers supporting the installation 24 X 7 in a place that is considered intersection of all major fiber routes in New England.
