Digital Ocean, a global cloud hosting provider of infrastructure for developers, announced that it is expanding its presence European with a new facility in Frankfurt am Main (FRA1). This new data center, designed to meet the increasing demands of technology and information of the fast growing sector of Germany, marks a rapid global growth of Digital Ocean.
With this new data center, Digital Ocean will have its third data center in Europe and 10th data center in the world. The company has already European presence in the data center in Amsterdam and London. The decision to open a German data center would have a positive impact on Digital Ocean to customers throughout the immediate area. Due to government regulations, it is often difficult for the data to be transported outside of Germany and developers, there would be much lower latency experience.

Digital Ocean, headquartered in New York recently launched its 4 millionth cloud server and nearly half a million developers have deployed a server on their platform.
