The PCI DSS 2.0 standard is strict and normative set around 250 requirements that service providers are required to respond . PCI DSS is defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, which was created to increase controls around cardholder data and reduce fraud. The PCI DSS is an information security standard to ensure that the data of the cardholder is secure for all applications, systems and network infrastructure that impact data security cardholder. QTS has implemented a complex network architecture to meet the robust PCI DSS policy, procedures and control requirements.
QTS is designated as a service provider two levels according to a PCI DSS 2.0 , which define the two level as any entity that stores or treats less than 300,000 transactions per credit card. In addition, QTS is registered on both sites of Visa and Mastercard as a certified PCI DSS service provider.
