As IPv6 is the next generation of Internet Protocol (IP) address standard is supplementing and will eventually replace IPv4, the protocol most Internet services use today, ServerPronto prepared its network for the future of Internet protocol addresses.

IPv4 is running out of space

IPv4 has approximately 4 billion IP addresses . The explosion in the number of people, devices and web services on the Internet means that IPv4 is running out of space. IPv6, the next generation Internet protocol that provides more than 340 billion dollars, billion, addresses trillion, will connect the billions of people not connected today.
