Dedicated Server and Cloud Specialist Hivelocity Launches New Generation Intel Broadwell server line -

Hivelocity, a provider of private cloud and dedicated servers to customers in over 130 countries, has launched a new server line this week that includes the brand new Intel processor family codenamed Broadwell. He is the first Xeon-based system on chip (SOC) from Intel and should quickly become a staple in the dedicated server market, according Hivelocity.

The Intel Broadwell Xeon D -1540 includes 8 physical cores, 16 threads and the ability to 128GB of RAM DDR4.

Hivelocity packs the Intel Xeon processor 1540 D-2 offers dedicated servers now. The first is fully customizable with up to 128 GB of RAM and hard drives as many combinations we can come up with. The second is 7 minutes server line, which are preconfigured systems that are deployed in about 7 minutes, includes 32 GB of RAM, an SSD 480GB paired with a SATA 1TB meant for backups and 500Mbps of bandwidth on a 1Gbps port.
