In this newly created position, Mr. Macaulay is a trusted advisor for customers of the company C-Level Fortinet, helping them to adopt a holistic approach to managing their data security environments.

Tyson Macaulay joined Fortinet Intel Security , where he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the telecommunications strategy and played a key role in the development of solutions security and sales channels through tier 1 carriers, service providers and manufacturers of telecommunications equipment. Mr. Macaulay's work at Intel included leading a team of international telecommunications account managers, engineers and consultants of professional services.

He has extensive experience in the specialized security disciplines , such as industrial control, machine-to-machine systems and emerging Internet of things (IoT).
Prior to Intel, Mr. Macaulay was security liaison officer Bell Canada and founded General Network services in 1996. His career began as a research consultant to the federal communications Department (DoC) on information networks, where he helped develop the first generation Internet services for the DoC in the early 190s
