DNS Made Easy, a subsidiary of Tiggee LLC, and a global IP Anycast enterprise service provider DNS, announced the expansion of its network in Europe include Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The new Point of Presence (PoP) will not only boost connectivity only for Amsterdam. It would also reduce the resolution time for all users in the European region and create additional layers of security to fend off DDoS attacks.
The PoP Amsterdam is housed in one of the data centers TelecityGroup facility in Amsterdam. This new addition to the network is part of the ongoing initiative of DNS Made Easy to create as many possible layers of redundancy to their self-healing IP Anycast network + . In addition, the expansion will also be applicable to their sister company, Constellix, a traffic management on cloud.
Amsterdam is one of Internet's most popular and dynamic hubs in the world. In response to this dramatic growth Amsterdam , largely thanks to streaming video, DNS Made Easy starts the current expansion initiative.
"It was clear we had to establish a greater presence in Europe, namely Amsterdam," said David Miller, chief technology officer, DNS Made Easy . "It is the second most populous Internet exchange point in the world."
By adhering to its rapid growth initiative, DNS Made Easy has proposed two additional points of presence for the near future in Bombay, India and São Paulo, Brazil.
Originally launched in 02, Easy Made DNS services have grown to manage hundreds of thousands of customer domains receiving more than 15 billion queries per day.
