SMEs in the United States that have already adopted the cloud always quickly deploy larger amounts of data , applications and infrastructure cloud computing, according to a survey sponsored by the iT infrastructure and the US cloud FiberCloud provider.
While the survey shows that only 29% of SMEs have embraced the cloud, it also indicates that the same companies are planning to become more cloud focused putting additional data, applications and IT infrastructure in a cloud hosting environment during the remaining seven months of 2014.
in fact, more than half of respondents indicated that the majority of their company will be in a cloud hosting environment late in the year, and a third say they will run a huge 66-100% of their business in the cloud.

While many policymakers say the cloud has helped increase security or compliance , they also indicate that they still have some security concerns although they argue that the benefits outweigh the risks, adding that security concerns can be addressed by using the cloud hosting environment right.
