SwiftStack, a provider of storage solutions built on OpenStack Swift object at its core, has announced opening of its new innovation center in San Jose, California. Strategically located in a hot spot of the storage industry veteran with a wealth of talent storage, the Innovation Centre will focus on cloud storage advancement and serve a second design center for teams software development.
The new facility will feature a space for customer information center to introduce technological demonstrations. It will also serve as a space collaboration for development partners in the technology ecosystem. At the same time, SwiftStack continues to scale its office headquarters in San Francisco by investing in sales, marketing, support and engineering.

The SwiftStack solution, built on OpenStack Swift at its base, is managed by a single controller out-of-band and includes scale-out nodes with runway improvements and a gateway interface file system for traditional applications.
